Large Victorian Mahogany Linen Cabinet with Drawers
A large Victorian linen cabinet, beautifully constructed from solid mahogany and pine.
The top section features four upper drawers, while the base unit offers a practical two-over-two drawer configuration. All drawers are clean, tidy, and in good working order.
Inside the doors, there are a couple of old newspaper clippings left for posterity, one of which is dated 1913. Additionally, the back of one drawer is signed and dated 1904, adding to its historical charm.
The cabinet is in nice, clean condition, with some polished-in scuffs consistent with its age. Please note that there are no keys for the locks, and the top two drawer handles have been replaced with period-appropriate handles.
For ease of transport, the cabinet separates into two sections (top and bottom), which I will disassemble for shipping. The pieces screw together easily upon reassembly.
Dating from the late Victorian period, this is a wonderful and characterful piece with a rich history.

Shipping
Courier shipping is £70 in England. Local delivery in East London should be cheaper and there may also be an additional charge for larger items to Wales, Cornwall, Devon, and some far northern counties so please ask.
Delivery will be 1 man, ground floor, kerbside and will be 1-2 weeks or sooner. If you are unable to assist the courier and require 2 man delivery then there may be an additional charge.
We can try to combine or reduce shipping for multiple items.
International shipping - expect the possibility of additional import duty tax.
