Antique Gilt Gold Picture Frame

An antique gilt picture frame with a distressed finish.
 
It is constructed from solid wood with decorative details.
 
The frame is quite distressed which gives it its authenticity and charm.
 
The age is unknown but I would say it is from at least the Victorian period.
 
There is a hook on the rear to hang it vertically but you could easily reposition it to hang horizontally.
